Pyramid Solutions Launches Intelligent Manufacturing Application Suite

Company’s MES product formerly known as Factory Automation Suite (FAS) to carry new name

BINGHAM FARMS, Mich., September 14, 2011 – Pyramid Solutions, a leading software development and system integration firm, today announced the launch of its Intelligent Manufacturing suite of products.  The suite is comprised of a comprehensive set of applications for the development of manufacturing solutions.

When combined, the Intelligent Manufacturing suite, forms a manufacturing execution system (MES). It is comprised of four distinct components that provide a process-centric methodology to ensure consistent and effective execution of operational activities. Real-time production visibility enables quality and process improvements with predictable results. Pyramid Solutions initially marketed the solution as Factory Automation Suite (FAS).

Factory Automation Suite is now known as IntelliWORKS and serves as the core of Pyramid Solutions’ manufacturing execution system. The company’s defect tracking and reporting tools, known in the past as Quality Gate, is now called IntelliCHECK.

IntelliQUENCE and IntelliPACK, sequencing and packout solutions respectively will continue to carry their original product names and round out Pyramid Solutions’ Intelligent Manufacturing suite.
